New Chanstat feature for Moderators PDF Print E-mail

The command !log will notice the user a link to a web page that shows them up to the last 14 days of logs in that particular channel. The logs are divided up by days, and you can choose any of the past 14 days.

Since privacy is a huge concern, we've added a few extra precautions that other commands do not have. The command is only available to users who are halfop (%) or higher (@,&,~) in the channel. This command also cannot be noticed to the channel by using @log; we're only allowing !log and .log to be used. The last precaution taken is the use of randomly generated authentication tokens in the URL. This means the link will only be able to be used once before becoming invalid.

Unlike other commands, there is no specific update time for !log. The log page will show every log up until when you typed the command.

If you have any suggestions or concerns, stop by our main support channel, #ChanStat, on SwiftIRC (irc.swiftirc.net).

    Enjoy! - Mat
