    I use dryer lint a lot on walkabouts because it is easy to use to start your camp fire. However, it is not replaceable as a source of tinder when in the back woods. Any form of cloth, moss, birch bark, and similar materials can be used to make char cloth. This video is a good example of how to do it yourself.
